Listen to RCM Bridges Guitar Series MP3s (plus download free)

Are you a fan of the RCM Bridges Guitar Series from Fredrick Harris Music?  It’s a great repertoire collection at the beginning levels.

I’m happy to announce that you can now listen to and download the MP3s for all of the Bridges Guitar Series pieces that I have videoed.

It can be helpful to be able to preview pieces before you start working on them. It can also be helpful to simply hear another perspective on a piece that you already play.
I’ve gotten some good feedback from these videos on YouTube, and thought that making the audio files accessible would be a service.
The bridges series constantly updates and alternates their repertoire in each edition of each book. For this reason, not all the pieces in every edition will be in this collection.
This collection will grow with time, so check back now and then if you are using this series.

Allen Mathews

Hi, I’m Allen Mathews.

I started as a folk guitarist, then fell in love with classical guitar in my 20’s. Despite a lot of practice and schooling, I still couldn’t get my music to flow well. I struggled with excess tension. My music sounded forced. And my hands and body were often sore. I got frustrated, and couldn’t see the way forward. Then, over the next decade, I studied with two other stellar teachers – one focused on the technical movements, and one on the musical (he was a concert pianist). In time, I came to discover a new set of formulas and movements. These brought new life and vitality to my practice. Now I help guitarists find more comfort and flow in their music, so they play more beautifully.
